Have you figured out what’s for dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? If you don’t want to bother with cooking, we have you covered. Whether you choose to dine out with the family and friends or order take-out, check out these options below.
- Canterbury’s Oyster Bay & Grillat 46 Audrey Avenuein Oyster Bayis offering a Christmas Eve-Channukah holiday menu on Dec. 24. The restaurant received a newly refurbished dining room with comfortable seating and more booths for you to enjoy your holiday dinner. Its menu includes Pan Tanned Sea Scallops ($24.95), Seafood Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp ($25.95), Stuffed Whole Maine Lobster ($34.95), Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass ($27.95), Lobster & Seafood Ciopino ($28.95), Five spiced Half Roasted Long Island Duck ($26.95), 16 oz. Centercut Rib Veal Chop ($32.95), Grilled Rib Eye Steak ($27.95), Loin Lamb Chops ($31.95) and much more! Reservations are not required, but highly recommended by calling (516) 922-3614.
- Citarella has two locations on Long Island – East Hampton and Bridgehampton. Its holiday menu includes everything from Crown Roast of Lamb, Beef Wellington, Cavier, Roasted Goose, Suckling Pig to Poached Salmon. Check out its extensive holiday menu. Orders need to be placed 72 hours in advance.
- Elegant Eating at739 Smithtown Bypass (Route 347) in Smithtownis offering a special Christmas Family Dinner (serving 8 to 10 people) for catering service. The dinner includes Righa Salad, Maple Honey Baked Ham with Honey Mustard, Triple Berry Sauce, Sweet Potato Casserole, Green Beans with Garlic and Oil, Cheese Pull-a-Parts and Holiday Chocolate Mousse Cake for $235. It also has a variety of other dishes available from its menu. Place orders by Dec. 19 for pick up on Christmas Eve or Day by calling (631) 360-2211.
- VERO Italian Kitchen & Lounge at 192 Broadway in Amityvillewill celebrate Christmas Eve with a special menu of items in addition to its regular mention beginning at 3pm for dine-in service. The special menu includes Mussels speck roasted peppers with cream sauce ($14), Clam Casino ($14), Seafood Salad ($18), Fritto Misto with fried calamari, scallops, shrimp, zucchini and carrots with aioli sauce ($14), Tortellini in Brodo with house-made meat tortellini in hen broth ($12), Lobster Ravioli with lemon beurre blanc confetti ($26), Beef Tenderloin and Lobster ($38), Stripped Bass ($32) and Rack of Lamb ($38).
