Our Lady of Consolation Announces the Appointment of Christine Smith as Director of Human Resources 

West Islip, NY 11795 - Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center, located inWest Islip, is proud to announce the appointment of Christine Smith as Director of Human Resources.

Christine joined Our Lady of Consolation in October 2005. During her 7 years at Our Lady of Consolation, Christine was the Human Resources Assistant and then became Manager in 2010. As part of Christine’s new role she will oversee the management of the Human Resource Department which employees over 700 people. Christine looks forward to the opportunity and challenges in her new role.  Christine resides in West Islip with her husband Kevin and sons Brendan and Jamie.

Our Lady of Consolation is a 450-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Dominic since 1894 and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). As a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Our Lady of Consolation plays an integral role in the health care delivery system of the Diocese of Rockville Centre and offers expertise in the field of long term care and sub-acute care.
