Melville, NY – Diane Trotta, Executive Assistant, and Phyllis Shulman, Physical Therapist, were recently presented with the Catholic Health Services (CHS) Living the Mission Award for exemplifying the CHS mission values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence. Ms. Trotta, a Shirley resident, and Ms. Shulman, a resident of Oceanside, were nominated by their colleagues for their outstanding qualities and were chosen from among 21 nominees.
Diane is always professional and pleasant with an excellent work ethic,” said a collegue. “She exemplifies all aspects of mission for Catholic Home Care. Diane treats all staff, patients, and families with respect and dignity.”
Ms. Shulman’s co-worker said they nominated her because “she truly goes above and beyond and she genuinely cares for others. Phyllis stays in contact with patients with a sincere concern that speaks to the mission of this agency on every level.”
Ms. Trotta has been with Catholic Home Care in 2009 and Ms. Shulman joined the team seven years ago.
