Bring March in With Great Music and Good Times

When it comes to great music there are few genres that can really capture a following like Doo Wop and Blues. These music genres command a major part of music history with some really big names that are heralded through the years. With March just a few more days away, and Spring a little bit closer, what better way to usher it in with great music and special times? Several great music events are going to be held around Long Island at the beginning of the month that you may want to check out.

Doo Wop and Music History

The Cinema Arts Centre offers rare clips and footage in this story about the origins of Rock 'n Roll. on Tuesday March 12 at 7:30 p.m. The price for the event is CAC Members $10 / Public $15. The Temptations and The Four Tops

Another great music event is with two of the timeless groups in history. The Temptations and The Four Tops, originally scheduled for Saturday, February 9 at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury will now perform on Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m. It's a second chance to see classic rock and roll at its finest. The cost for this is $69.50 and $49.50 plus applicable service charges and are available online at www.ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the Westbury box office.
