Breast Cancer Help, Inc. Encourages People to Donate their Used or Junk Cars for a Good Cause — Even If They Do Not Run
(Bay Shore, New York) — Breast Cancer Help, Inc., a not-for-profit grass roots organization, is encouraging people to donate their usedvehicles for a good cause, whether they are running or not. The funds raised through this effort will support Breast Cancer Help, Inc., and theLong Island Cancer Help and Wellness Center and its mission to increase awareness and research into the cause, treatment and cure of breast cancer. Global Auto Buyers will be available to pick up your vehicle.
By donating used vehicles, owners can save on the cost of towing and receive tax benefits. In addition, they will also be helping the environment by getting these gas-guzzling cars off the road that release greenhouse-gas emissions. The proceeds will also support Breast Cancer Help, Inc. in ensuring access for all women to high-quality breast cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment.
To donate your car to Breast Cancer Help, Inc., please fill out the form online at www.breastcancerhelpinc.org/used-car-donation-program.php. A Breast Cancer Help, Inc. representative will then contact you to make arrangements to pick up your vehicle. At the time of pickup, you will be asked to provide a valid title to the vehicle, your driver’s license and to sign a Motor Vehicle Form MV-35. Global Auto Buyers will then come to pick up your vehicle. Breast Cancer Help, Inc. will send you a letter indicating the amount of the deduction based on the car’s value.
“We encourage everyone to donate their old cars to protect the environment while making a positive and meaningful contribution to our organization,” said Lorraine Pace, President, Breast Cancer Help, Inc. “The funds raised will go towards providing breast cancer patients and survivors with the optimal care that they need.”
