If you are looking for a fun way to enjoy a bistro on Long Island, you can consider going to Fatfish Wine Bar & Bistro. This wonderful restaurant is tucked away right on the waterfront. You will be able to take in the sights and the sounds of the water as you dine on the deck. With seating for 80, you may need to call in advance to assure you will get a seat as this is one of the most coveted sections whenever the weather is warm enough to allow seating.
The dining is all tablecloth service including the service that goes along with it. Surprisingly, this little bistro and wine bar is able to deliver everything you would hope for when dining out without having to tack on a huge price tag. You can expect to dine at the restaurant for less than $25.
If you are not feeling the deck, you can sit inside in the bistro or even at the wine bar. No matter where you are seated, you can choose from the 50 bottled wines and 25 wines by the glass. The restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. If you show up on Friday or Saturday, you will be able to enjoy the live music appearing there every week.
Those who enjoy going to Fatfish testify that it is a great meeting place as well as a great place to have a great meal. You can select from the raw bar that changes depending on season and availability as well as enjoying tapas of a wide range. The charcuterie plate is a fun way to let all of your guests try some delicious cured meats before the meal. Head-on jumbo char-grilles shrimp doused with marinade and served with vegetable cous cous and asparagus.
You can find Fatfish at:

The restaurant is available for catering and events as well.
