West Islip, NY – On Thursday, February 14, 2013, students from Beach Street Middle School in West Islip, visited the residents of Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center for Valentine’s Day. The students handed out 200 carnations and handmade Valentine cards. They visited 6 communities and greeted everyone with a smile. The residents always enjoy these special visits from young students who bring such joy to their day.
Our Lady of Consolation is a 450-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Dominic since 1894 and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
