Wednesday Afternoon At The Movies – 2:30 PM – The movie to be shown on July 17th is Life of Pi, July 17th Zero Dark Thirty and July 31st Les Miserables (2012).
July 10th – Wednesday at 7:00 PM – Fireside book Discussion Group – The book to be discussed is The Devil In The White City by Eric Larson. Mary Beth Wilson will lead this discussion. Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk.
COMPUTER CLASSES:
July 11th - Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM – Cool Apps for your iPad – This is a lecture – please bring your iPad if you have one or just come and listen. Learn how to find useful apps, how to use the App store, how to search for free apps and much more. The fee for this class is $10.00 per person. Maximum class size is 50 people.
July 18th – Thursday from 7 to 9 PM – Introduction to Microsoft Excel – This hands-on class will help you to learn the basics of the spreadsheet program, including creating, editing and formatting worksheets, formulas and much more. Prerequisites include basic knowledge of computers. Maximum class size is 24. The fee for this class is $10.00.
July 25th – Thursday from 7 to 9 PM – Intermediate Microsoft Excel - Learn more about the spreadsheet program including functions, working with ranges, macros, charting and much more. Prerequisites include basic knowledge of computer and Introduction to Microsoft Excel.
ADULT FITNESS CLASSES
July 12th – August 30th – Fridays from 10:30 to 11:15 AM – Senior Fitness – This Simply Stronger senior fitness class is designed to help maintain flexibility and strength. The fee for this class is $24.00.
July 29th through September 16th – Mondays from 10 AM to 11:15 AM – Kripalu Yoga will be taught by certified instructor Carol Long. The fee for this class is $30.00.
CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS
Magic Carpet Storytime –
July 10th through August 14th - Wednesday s from 10:30 to 11:15 AM – This summertime community favorite returns for all to enjoy. There will be stories, finger plays and songs to brighten a summer day for all.
