(April, 2013- Rockville Centre, NY) – Your Time For Creative Empowerment, Inc. is hosting the third annual “Self-Empowering Workshop for College Bound 11th & 12th Grade Students,” as well as, “So Your Child is Going Off to College: What to Expect and How to Deal with It” for parents - a series of two workshops on Saturday, April 20, & April 27, 2013 from 8:30 A.M to 2:30 P.M. atMolloy College, 1000 Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre.
Your Time For Creative Empowerment, Inc. will offer 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade college-bound students the opportunity to engage in open, honest discussion with concerned professionals from various walks of life, who have volunteered their time and expertise to address the real scoop on the challenges and pitfalls that can interfere with interfere with college success.
A Parent and Guardian Forum will address concerns related to their children leaving home for college. Current college students, licensed parent/child relationship experts and a pre/post-divorce strategist will provide valuable tips. Representatives from area colleges will also be on hand to discuss financial and college residential life issues.

Dynamic Keynote Motivational Presentations by Devon Harris Motivational Speaker and original member of the 1988 Olympic Jamaican Bobsled Team
Exciting Innovative Musical Expressions by John D. Clarke, MD, FAAFP
A Creative Art Activity to reinforce personal development and self-improvement concepts through the creation of textile art facilitated by Madona Cole-Lacy, M.A. Ed., in collaboration with other Long Island Artists.
