Looking for a fun activity for the whole family? The 4th Annual All Kids Fair has been scheduled for Sunday, April 27th, at the Melville Marriot. The event will run from 10 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon. Over 80 exhibitors will be present. Adults and children will both find plenty of fun and educational activities to participate in. Parents have a chance to learn about ideas for after school activities, camps, parties, tutoring, and other services by speaking directly with vendors.
Parents will also be able to join classes which cover a wide range of health related topics involving pregnancy and child rearing. Classes for kids and adults will also be offered in crafting, fitness, music, and more. QuackerJack of the Long Island Ducks will be a special guest at the event, and will be available for photos with children. Families may enter into raffles to win tickets to Long Island Ducks games as well as other fun prizes. The non-profit group Penelope’s Odyssey will be present at the event, taking cheek swabs of volunteers who would like to be entered into the National Bone Marrow Registry. Last year 26 volunteers were entered into the Registry. Other participating non-profit organizations include the Huntington YMCA and the American Airpower Museum.
Tickets to the event are only $5 for participants ages 3 and up. For children 2 years old and younger, there is no admission fee. Grandparents may also come for free if they are accompanied by their children and grandchildren.
