West Islip, NY 11795 – On Sunday, December 9, 2012, Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center hosted their 4th Annual Christmas Family Festival at Timber Point Country Club in Great River. This brunch was a day to celebrate the Christmas season with family, residents, staff and local community members. Musical entertainment was provided along with many children’s craft activities and a surprise visit from Santa.
This year we honored Mr. Robert Valli, retired Vice President HSBC, Public Banking, as well as Chairman of Our Lady of Consolation’s Foundation. “Bob was chosen for this honor due to his long term commitment and dedication to Our Lady of Consolation as well as to his community,” stated Joseph Tomaino, President/CEO of Our Lady of Consolation.
This event raised over $40,000 which will go directly to benefit programs and services for the residents and patients of Our Lady of Consolation. The day was enjoyed by all who attended and everyone is looking forward to kicking off the Christmas season next year at the 2013 Christmas Family Festival.
