West East All Natural Bistro & Bar has re-emerged in Hicksville. They have extended the Asian concept that made them so popular to also embrace American cuisine offerings as well. Raquel and Jay Jadeja have been consulting at this restaurant unofficially for some time and acquired the location in January 2012.
Jay Jadeja works as the executive chef and general manager of West East, which specializes in grass-fed beef from Painted Hill Farms, as well as hormone and antibiotic free pork and poultry.
Guests are delighted with the modern interior that is part of West East All Natural Bistro & Bar. The Asian inspired ceiling lamps perfectly complement the simple dark wooden tables. Dining room seating includes cushioned leather dark wood chairs and fabric wrapped banquet seating. Oranges and reds are the predominant colors that are set off with the geometric circles, rectangles, and squares.
The menu falls into the affordable category with appetizers starting at $5 and entrees from $14 to $27. You can start with an Asian or American appetizer and move on to Wok magic chicken in Thai basil and sweet chili sauce or a Painted Hills Farms grass fed marinated skirt steak. The offerings are many at West East All Natural Bistro.
Sushi and sake nights highlight the Eastern customs with a deal of sake and sushi for $10 or sashimi for $12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Western culture is represented with wine and wild game dinners. Live music on Thursday and Saturday nights gives the best of both types of music with a keyboard player or guitarist every week.
West East All Natural Bistro & Bar is open Tuesday through Thursday from 12 to 9PM, Fridays from 12 to 10PM, Saturday from 5 to 10PM and Sundays from 5 to 9PM. Come and enjoy a dinner out today!
