A Q&A With Members of The Riverhead Town Board
Here’s your opportunity to find out what’s going on in politics today in the Town of Riverhead when the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce hosts “Eggs & Issues on Wednesday, August 22, 2012.
Some members of the Riverhead Town Board will be available to answer your questions in an informal town hall format with breakfast included at Riverhead Polish Hall, 214 Marcy Avenue, beginning at 8:00am.
The Riverhead Chamber routinely presents issues to its members, and the business community at large, that may affect the way they do business. Town Board members act as liaisons to the Chamber of Commerce and Chamber Board members attend Town Board meetings as a way of keeping informed of the issues. The Chamber is often asked for support from businesses that struggle to understand local government processes or to push for speedier resolutions. The Chamber is pleased to present this open forum between government and business so that there is a better understanding between these mutually exclusive partners.
Reservations can be made by calling the Riverhead Chamber (727-7600) or on-line at riverheadchamber.com. Tickets are $14 for members/ $16 for non-members.
