Easter Bunny Comes to Long Island… Hop Along for Egg Hunt Adventures

We have tracked down several Long Island destinations the Easter Bunny will be making stops at. Make sure your little one gets a photo shoot with the Bunny. There will also be a variety of Easter crafts and other entertaining activities for all to enjoy!

Belmont Lake State Park: If you’ll be in North Babylon on Saturday, March 31, be sure to stop by Belmont Lake State Park for its 19^th annual Spring Egg Hunt. All activities are free and the fun run from noon until 2 PM. There will be egg hunts every 15 minutes for three age groups: 4 and under, 5-6 and 7-9. Other entertainment includes a petting zoo, temporary tattooing, pony rides, crafts, an appearance by the Spring Bunny for photos and more. The event and activities are supported by co-sponsors WBAB (102.3FM) and WBLI (106.1FM) and the Natural Heritage Trust.
Country Fair Entertainment Park: If you’ll be in Medford on Saturday, March 31, make a stop at the Country Fair Entertainment Park. It is hosting its 2^nd annual Easter Egg Hunt from 10:30 AM to 1 PM. Activities include egg hunting, a visit from the Easter Bunny, face painting, rides, crafts and there will also be snacks and refreshments. Note that egg hunting begins promptly at 11:15am for children age 2-6 and 11:30am for children age 7-10. For participation, its $9 per child. Also, don’t forget to bring a basket!
White Post Animal Farm: This weekend and next week (April 5 – 8), the Easter Bunny will be hopping into White Post Animal Farm in Melville for photos. Take a photo with the Easter bunny for free with your paid admission. There will also be crafts with a variety of eggs, including chicken eggs, goose eggs, Australian emu eggs and African ostrich eggs. The White Post Animal Farm is recognized as one of the best petting zoos in Long Island, so don’t miss out on all the fun!
Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center: On Saturday, April 7, the aquarium will host “Egg-Streme Adventure!” It will feature egg hunt activities and family brunch. Your admission to the aquarium will entitle you to egg hunt activities from 10 AM to 1 PM where you get prize vouchers and opportunities to ride on both the Discovery Tower and Submarine Simulator. You can also make reservations to participate in its annual family brunch taking place at its new Sea Star Ballroom.
