(RIVERHEAD, NY, March 4, 2013) –– East End Arts, an organizing partner of Winterfest, announces that the 6th Annual Winterfest Jazz on the Vine Concert Series has been extended one weekend to accommodate for weather-related cancellations during the first weekend (February 8-10) of the music festival. Long Island Winterfest 2013 celebrates six consecutive years of exceptional jazz performances over six weekends. From February 9 to now March 24, 2013 the East End of Long Island will be alive and in full swing with over 70 live jazz performances, featuring many Grammy-nominated artists. Dozens of cultural attractions and special offers on hotel and B&B getaway packages, restaurants and winery tours are available. Winterfest is a project of East End Arts, the Long Island Wine Council, Long Island Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Suffolk County Department of Economic Development.
