Eastern Long Island Hospital will honor Kevin M. O’Connor, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgehampton National Bank on Wednesday, May 15th at its 21st Annual Golf Classic. This year, the classic will be held a little earlier in the season at Gardiner’s Bay Country Club, a par 70 private golf course, located on Shelter Island with scenic water views. Highlights of the day include a gourmet lunch, 18 holes of golf with tournament prizes, barbeque at halfway, cocktails and awards buffet. Hole-in-one prizes are courtesy of Strong’s Marine and Mullen Motors.
Eastern Long Island Hospital is proud to acknowledge Kevin O’Connor and his many years of service to the local community as a professional and as a civic leader. With almost 25 years tenure in the financial services industry, O’Connor has been at the forefront of acquisition planning, de novo branching, and the development of strategic initiatives. Along with his current team of banking professionals, he places a high priority on developing long term relationships with local business people, understanding local market indices and providing a customer focused, personal approach at all levels of business.
O’Connor earned an Associate’s Degree in accounting from Suffolk County Community College and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Adelphi University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the NYS Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is President of the Long Island Chapter of the New York State Bankers Association.
Committed to community involvement, O’Connor is chairman of the Principals Advisory Board of McGann Mercy High School, Riverhead and past president and board member of Suffolk County Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In addition, he recently served as chair of the executive committee of the 2012 American Heart Association “Heart of the Hamptons” Gala.
