The Bridgehampton Museum has released its annual issue of The Bridge journal which is chock-full of articles and activities relating to the broader Bridgehampton community. This year’s award-winning publication features a thorough account of the area’s golf courses which complements one of the Museum’s summer exhibits, “From Pastures to Putting: Greater Bridgehampton’s Golfing Traditions.” Other articles include an account of The Peconic Land Trust’s victories upon its 30th anniversary, the winning essay from the Museum’s scholarship winner, and the second part in a series about Captain Charles A. Goodale. Regular features by Museum staff and board president are included as usual, and guest writer, Jeff Mansfield, has contributed “A History of Sailing on Mecox Bay.” The Bridge is complimentary with Museum membership and is sold for just $5 a copy thanks to the many local sponsors and advertisers including The Bridgehampton National Bank, the Tee and Charles Addams Foundation, and Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Copies are available from the Museum’s headquarters, the Corwith House, 2368 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton. For additional information, call 631-537-1088 or visit www.bhmuseum.org.
